Mission Mike Pays a Visit

On Monday, Mission Mike came to visit our classroom.  He came to tell the children about how he is helping to tell people all over the world about Jesus.  He couldn't stay long, because he had to keep traveling to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ! 

He had candy and gum with him that he was bringing to a missionary family that live in South Africa.  He told us how they had to walk for 3 days and then take a boat ride for 2 days to get to a place to buy groceries - and that they didn't sell candy or gum there!  So, he always brings them some when he visits!

He promised that he would write to us.  We hope he comes back soon!

    I would have trouble living in a place where I couldn't just run out to the grocery store. ;-)
